Diet

By changing your diet around, to include a high content of fresh produce, you may reverse your osteoporosis and so your back pain.
Although this change of diet is essential for future health, it will be slow to help your current problem.
Vitamin D Deficiency
In these days of strong fears of developing skin cancer, the pendulum has swung the other way. Now people are not getting enough natural sunlight to get their daily requirements of vitamin D.
Like water, salt, and possibly everything else in life, natural sunlight is essential to life but can also kill, depending on the amount you have. You need a reasonable amount of natural sunlight. This will vary, depending on your location in the world, the season and your sensitivity to the sun. An hour a day may be sufficient at the height of summer in a hot climate such as Australia - avoiding the intense midday sun.
