Worried About Infections or Your Immune System.

Louis Pasteur (1822 - 1895) was a French chemist, often considered to be the father of modern medicine. He developed the germ theory, although it was well known before his findings. This theory assumes that the body is sterile and that germs are air born. In effect, the theory takes away responsibility from the individual. The environment is to blame. The individual is helpless. The world is looking for a magic pill.

Perhaps the largest flaw in Pasteur’s theory is that no living being is sterile. All living beings are teeming with bacteria, virus’ and other micro-organisms that are considered pathogens, or possible trouble makers. In reality, life depends on them. Without them, you would not exist.

Pasteur also developed vaccines.

Antoine Bechamp (1816 - 1908) was also a French scientist. He developed what is known as the cellular theory. He postulated that the host was the causative factor in disease, the host in a state of imbalance. It was Bechamp who said that to prevent disease, first you have to create health.

The founder of homeopathy, Dr Samuel Hahnemann (1755 - 1843) came before both of these French scientists. His ongoing experience and relentless and in depth study of health and disease led him to understand that the germ theory has no foundation. It is indeed the imbalance of a living being that is responsible for disease.

Responsibility now comes back, fairly and squarely, to the individual. You are not helpless against disease. You are not only responsible for the state of your health, but you can improve it way beyond anything you currently may feel possible.

Both Hahnemann and Bechamp understood the importance of proper nutrition, a far cry from that which is considered a healthy western diet. A poor diet can be the maker of countless states of ill health. Just by changing your diet, you can regain your health.

But Hahnemann took it a stage further. He discovered that there are a multitude of natural substances that reflect ill health. Put another way, they cause the same symptoms in a healthy person that they cure in an unhealthy one.

Not only was this upside down to current thinking, he also discovered that the dose was of immense importance. Not the amount of the material dose. This had been discarded long ago as being too disturbing for the patient. Hahnemann discovered that by attenuating a material dose, he could eliminate side effects and boost the positive effect.

Attenuation leaves behind the grossness of material medicine, tapping into the realms of energetic medicine. As energetic beings, this makes logical sense.

Homeopathy is capable of curing every disease under the sun. Nothing is beyond the scope of good homeopathic treatment. This is because it treats the person, not the disease. However, homeopathy does not render you immortal!

One wonders how much Hahnemann influenced Bechamp thinking, as he lived and practiced in Paris for the last years of his life.

Many believe Pasteur to have plagiarised and distorted Bechamp’s original ideas, that he falsified experimental data and made claims that have no basis in fact. And yet modern medicine is based on Pasteur’s theory.

It’s a strange world we live in, that honours thieves, without respecting truth seekers.
