This blue/green algae is a form of spirulina, but grows in fresh water. This product, from Green Earth Naturals, grows in the pristine Lake Klamath in Oregan, USA. It is fed by mineral rich mountain streams. This is wildcrafted, rather than organic. It is 100% blue green algae (aphanisomenon flos-aquae).
It comes in powder form, or capsules. Daily dosage is much less than spirulina as it is richer in nutrients. Suggested starting dose is one teaspoon of the powder (mixed with fruit juice) or two capules.
