The aim of a wellness programme is to prevent ill health catching you out by surprise. It’s a preventative measure.
Why is this necessary?
Most people are so caught up with their job, career and family commitments, that looking after their health can slide into obscurity. This is understandable. The stresses of modern life can seem relentless. There seems hardly any time for pleasure or recreation. Life just seems to be an endless round of running on the spot.
A typical scenario can look something like this:
Time is important as you desperately try to juggle staying ahead in your career and spending quality time with your family. Food is perhaps one of the first areas that suffers. There just isn’t enough time in the day. So fast food, instant meals and junk food become normal parts of your diet.
The race against time tends to make you irritable, impatient, unhappy. So you take up smoking or drinking. Perhaps social drugs. These can help in the short term, but what about the long term effect on your health?
Sex doesn’t happen naturally. Either you’re too tired, or you need artificial support. Who knows what that does to your health long term?
Pretty soon, some pathological problem develops. So now you see your doctor. A drug is prescribed that suppresses the symptoms. You feel better having got rid of the problem, but your body suffers from suppression. Disease goes deeper. Health has gone in the wrong direction. Now you have a worse problem because it is deeper.
Back to the doctor. Another drug seems to fix the problem. But this one has side effects. So now your body has this to deal with as well as further suppression.
The spiral can be steep and tortuous. Ultimately your energy is shattered. You succumb to a serious, degenerative disease.
Then what happens to your job prospects and your family life?
Let’s look at an alternative.
You don’t really have a particular physical problem, but you start seeing a homoeopath. A ‘well-being’, or individually targeted homoeopathic medicine is matched to you as a whole person. This is what I offer you and your family in my Diamond Wellness Programme.
The programme involves:-
An initial homoeopathic consultation, plus a follow up within a month.
A consultation a month later examining your diet, life style, exercise, etc. Easy to implement suggestions are made.
Further consultations are made as required by your progress. These are at about monthly intervals and include any acute health problems you may encounter.
For the first year, you may require monthly consultations for the first six months. These then tend to taper off to every two or three months. By the second year, this can further taper off, depending on individual factors.
By the third and following years, you merely come once a year to ensure you are still moving ahead and to remind youself to keep other important measures in place, for all round good health.
