The Difference

Orthodox medicine is only concerned about the physical effects of disease. They are locked in to the idea of killing off the offending pathogens and removing symptoms, almost regardless of the consequences.

Homoeopathic treatment, on the other hand, consists of finding out why the person is the way they are. What happened to create this disease. Did it occur after an injury? Did it start after childbirth? Is it hereditary?

In collecting this information, treatment then consists of building up your immunity. This means that you become an unsuitable host for the proliferation of bacteria, virus etc.

The tendency to particular symptoms is removed, rather than purely the symptoms.

Treatment is patient specific, rather than disease specific. The person is treated as a whole, on an energetic level.
