Your Immune System, Vaccination and HP
28th October 2009
A couple of weeks ago I asked readers to email me with health problems they wanted help with. A lot of people asked about vaccination, so here are my thoughts on it, based on my training and experience as a homeopath. I’m going to use a human model, but it is just as relevant for animals.
At birth, you don’t have an immune system, you have what is called passive immunity. You receive your immunity from your mother’s milk. This is why, once weaned, a child starts to develop health challenges. They aren’t problems. They are the body’s way of learning to react to outside stimulus to start building up their own immune system.
After all, how many people have learnt to ride a bicycle without falling off a few times? It’s the same with your immune system. To create a healthy one and so a healthy adult, a child must get lots of practice.
These health challenges, unless very serious, should be left alone. Medical treatment with antibiotics not only destroys good healthy bacteria, but they also suppress the child’s natural inclination to learn to heal itself. Lots of antibiotics or other suppressive treatment makes for an unhealthy adult.
Once the child has developed an immune system, then this comes into play whenever they are exposed to any pathogen. This is known as street immunity.
So, you’re walking down the street, when you pass someone who has, say the flu. You breathe in the their exhaled air and so the pathogen.
A healthy immune system will immediately go into action. The first thing it will do is to try to prevent the pathogen from further invasion, by sneezing.
If you are healthy and your body was successful in throwing out the pathogen in its entirety, that will be the end of the problem. One super efficient immune system.
But, if you’re not super healthy, then the sneezing won’t be effective, or not totally. So the pathogen then travels down to the next layer, where different actions come into play to rid your body of it. You might get a cold.
Mucous discharge is the debris of your immune system efficiently throwing out a pathogen. So your body was still successful. The cold was mild and you recovered.
But maybe your body wasn’t successful, so the pathogen moves down to the next level. You get the flu, with a fever.
Now, a fever indicates that your body is fighting something hard. A healthy person can throw an alarmingly high fever which quickly deals with the offender, in a short period. Perhaps hours or overnight. Your body was still successful at throwing out the offender.
A person with a weak immune system will never have the strength to throw a violent fever. Instead, your body will try weakly to defend itself. The fever will be mild, of little use and may last several days, if not longer.
Any suppressive drugs that bring a fever down has the same impact on your body as a mild fever. The pathogen gains entry. Your body was unsuccessful at getting rid of the invasive pathogen.
And so antibodies are created. So at least your body will remember and perhaps be a little more effective next time round.
So, if you have antibodies, you’re not healthy.
This is totally different from main stream thinking.
If you are already able to deal effectively with air borne pathogens, you couldn’t be healthier.
Vaccination
Being vaccinated makes your immune system thinks it was unsuccessful, so your health takes a tumble.
Now lets look at some of the ingredients in vaccinations. I’m not being specific here. Just some general ingredients that find their way into various vaccines.
- formaldehyde (a chemical used to embalm dead bodies)
- mercury (the heavy metal that we are all trying to avoid)
- aluminium (thought to cause alkzeimers disease)
- phenol (carbolic acid)
- borax (used to kill ants)
- methanol
- dye
- acetone (polish remover)
- disinfectant
- glycerine
- antifreeze
- MSG
- animal organ tissue or plasma (monkey, cow, sheep, dog, cat, etc)
- contaminant animal viruses
- aborted human foetal cells
- mutated human viruses
- antibiotics, bacterial endotoxins
- genetically modifies yeast, latex
- viral DNA
- and probably many more that I don’t know about
Vaccines are generally touted as having stopped the spread of disease.
I want to answer that with some suggestions.
When vaccines first appeared in the western world, it coincided with improved hygiene, diet, sanitation and the like. This is the considered to be the most likely reason for improved disease protection.
Vaccinations make the pathogen mutate, so that the disease is often no longer recognised under that label. But it’s still there.
It is quite normal for a disease to cause an epidemic a few years after mass vaccination has taken place.
Here are a couple of thoughts you might like to ponder over.
The idea behind vaccines is to stimulate the immune system. But a baby doesn’t have one.
We live in a world that is governed by the mighty dollar. Not by truth.
No one has a right to tell you what to do. But it’s best to be aware of all angles before making a decision as important of this.

Dr Jean Elmiger (Switzerland) (click on Sequential Homeopathy on the left hand panel.) He is a doctor cum homeopath who starts all his homeopathic treatment of children by clearing the effects of all the child’s vaccinations. He is kept very busy.
Dr Tinus Smits (Holland) is the same.
Dr Isaac Golden (Australia) has a PhD on homeopathic prophylaxis - the prevention of disease using homoeopathy. Homeopathy does not suppress the body’s natural healing abilities. It works by HELPING the body.
Richard Pitcairn (North America) worked for five years in an immunology laboratory after he graduated as a veterinarian. When he left he said, ‘vaccination is great in theory, but doesn’t work in practice”. He went on to study homeopathy and now has a busy practice.
Disease Prevention by Homoeoprophlaxis
This is a first for homeopathy on such a scale.
Cuba experiences annual epidemics of leptospirosis. Every autumn, hurricanes flood regions, causing water pollution. Apart from the stress of losing homes and possibly livelihoods, leptospirosis becomes widespread.
Leptospirosis is an infectious disease. Symptoms include high fever, severe headache, chills, muscle aches, vomiting, jaundice, red eyes, abdominal pain, diarrhoea, and/or a rash.
In susceptible people, if this is not treated it can lead to kidney damage, meningitis, liver failure and respiratory problems.
In the autumn of 2007, three provinces of the eastern region of Cuba were affected by widespread flooding. This caused damage to the sewerage systems, increasing the risk of leptospirosis infection. About two million people were exposed to potentially contaminated water.
What was interesting in this year was that there was a dramatic decrease in cases of leptospirosis.
In previous years with conventional vaccination, disease spread was around a few thousand with some deaths.
But this year there were only ten cases in the three most affected eastern seaboard provinces. And there were no deaths.
What was different this year?
The population of the affected areas had been given the oral homeoprophylactic (HP) for leptospirosis. This is the homeopathic way of protecting against a specific disease, by naturally giving immunity.
Cuba is subject to a 50 year US embargo, so have become self-sufficient in their production of medicines and health care programs, as well as in every other area.
The cost of the project for treating 2.4 million people was US$200,000. Compare this with the cost of conventional vaccination, which is normally only given to the most at-risk populations (children, pregnant women, the elderly) of about US$3,000,000.
Not only that, but the medicines was manufactured within one week (compare this with the manufacture of the swine flu vaccine). It does not require refrigeration (as do vaccines) and it does not require specialised personnel to deliver (as do vaccines). Manufacturing homeopathic nosodes also have the added advantage of being able to adapt easily to variations in different strains.
What is remarkable is that Cuba was able to deliver this solution so effectively and successfully. It was also able to conduct research on a large population with credible scientific verification.
