Recommendations
Bringing the calcium/phosphorus ratio back into balance is a priority for anyone, but particularly for those who have chronic, degenerative diseases.
For at least one month:-
- try to eat at least one third of your diet raw food, or lightly cook when eating cooked food
- eliminate all flesh (red meat, chicken, fish) and eggs
- eliminate all processed foods (packets, cans, confectionary, etc)
- eliminate all dairy
- eat only low phosphorus foods (carrots, spinach, pumpkin, cabbage, onions, beetroot, raw molasses) or any certified organic fruit and veggies
- eliminate all seeds and nuts unless certified organic
- eliminate all grain (bread, pasta, oats, cereal, rice, etc) unless certified organic
- eliminate all sugar or limit if certified organic
- drink rain water, filtered or spring water
- allow yourself a small treat once or twice a week (even if it is a ‘bad’ food)
- eliminate canned soft drinks which contain up to nine teaspoons of sugar. Diet cans are worse, as the artificial sweetener aspartame causes serious health problems.
- limit caffeine (a heart stimulant and diuretic), found in coffee, cocoa, chocolate, tea
- use sea salt rather than table salt, and limit its use if you are a heavy user
