Set Meal Times
Nature intended us to eat only when we’re hungry. This is the best way to eat, rather than at set meal times as has become the custom. Many small meals is better than a few large ones. Advantages include;-
- Stops us over eating, as we learn to stop as soon as the hunger is satisfied. Over eating is normally the habit of social eating.
- Eat slowly. Don’t bolt the food. Enjoy it.
- Protein is best avoided at night as it takes many hours to digest and can interfere with sleep.
- Learn to trust your instincts and eat what you want, rather than what is the custom.
