German physician, Samuel Hahnemann, founder of modern
day homoeopathy (1755 - 1843).
Homoeopathy is a total system of health care that uses energy rather than chemicals as the treatment. It is a natural discipline of health care which restores health gently, rapidly and permanently, in the shortest possible time, in the most reliable way and in the most harmless way. The restoration of health occurs not only on the outside (on the pathology), but also in the inside.
Everyone is Looking For a Cure. What is Cure?
Cure is a journey as well as a destination.
Cure is about unwinding or unravelling your problem.
Cure is getting to the point of being able to forget about your problem (as it diminishes), about moving away from the limited perspective of the problem and seeing the bigger picture.
Cure is not just about the removal of external symptoms. Cure is about the restoration of the dynamic balance as well as the removal of pain, suffering and external symptoms.
Cure is the gaining of a perspective of wholeness. Cure is presence, the capacity to be in the moment.
Cure is as if one person.
Cure is the reconnecting to something deep inside.
Cure is having the ability to come back to oneself, to link to who you once were.
How is Homeopathic Treatment Taken?
The medicine's are taken orally. They stimulates your body’s great ability to heal itself.
Comparing Homeopathy With Other Forms of Health Care
There are three different types of medicine. homoeopathy, antiopathy
and allopathy.
Drugs used in orthodox medicine today, run the risk of side-effects, they are suppressive, they lower the resistance of the host and destroy the natural balance of bacteria. None of this is the basis for long term healing.
Suppression of symptoms reduces the efficiency of the immune system, making it less able to deal effectively with disease. Although symptoms often disappear when suppressed, they return later and with increased vigour, either in the same place or in other parts of the body.
To better understand the difference between homoeopathy and orthodox medicine, I like to use the analogy of a four pole tent. If one of the rear poles collapses (our illness), the whole tent (us) is insecure and doesn't work properly. Modern medicine tries to shore up the tent from the front, so it's never as good and is easily blown over again. A homoeopath walks round to the back, sees the collapsed pole and puts it back in the ground. Everything comes back to as it was.
In other words, orthodox medicine only treats the effect of a disease, whereas homoeopathy treats the cause.
Homoeopathy has deep roots. It's origin, in its present form, goes back over two hundred years. And the concept goes back thousands of years.
One of the great things about homoeopathy is that the philosophy behind it nevers changes. What worked two hundred years ago, still works today. We have many more remedies today, but the way it works remains the same.
And no remedy has ever been removed from the pharmacies, for any reason, but mostly for the danger it poses to you, the patient.
